Task 3: planning of an interview.

This is about the interview with Jacob Wilkins located at Caverly park

Purposes:

The purpose of the interview was for my documentary Adolescent Aggression. The interview I will be conducting will be appropriate for documentary as it will be filmed in a documentary format as I will be using a mid-shot of somebody talking so you can see them talking and the viewer can get intrigued and learn more from their body language and how they are talking to the camera. Another purpose of my interview for the documentary is linked to the purpose of the documentary which is to inform the public about teenage violence in Tunbridge wells the interview will link to this by giving a teenage view point of violence in tumbridge wells asking a 17 year old teenager about teenage violence in tumbridge wells and trying to find out about his exspriences.

The main purpose is to give insight to the viewer of a teenager’s perception about teenage violence and to get story’s from the interview so the interviewer becomes hooked by wanting to find out how the story ends and his opioun on the matter.

eg lifestyle magazine article, lifestyle television or radio programme article, television or radio

documentary, children’s news website, commercial blog, local television news, national radio news, reality television contestants

Interview planning:

The location of my interview will be at Caverly park located near the main shopping centre in Tunbridge wells (Royal Victoria Place).

I have chosen this location for my interview for several reasons. One of these reason is because it is located close to the centre of Tunbridge wells this means it is easy accessible there are regular buses going here and a train station opposite the park. Meaning that there would be easy access for me and my interviewee.

The park is open and has plenty of places to film this means that there will no problems with the public as if there are lots of places to go film in the park so if there are members of the public at a point where we would like to film we can find a different part of the park
